Mrs. Eula Lucille Gipson

Eula Lucille Gipson, born May 30, 1934 in Augusta, Georgia departed this life on January 1, 2021. She was the youngest of twelve children. She was preceded in eternal life by her parents, Sam and Lucille Crawford; all of her siblings; her husband, Percell Gipson; and son, Robert L. Copeland.
Eula attended and graduated from Lucy Laney High School in Augusta, GA. On February 20, 1963 she was joined in holy matrimony to the late Percell Gipson. They shared many years of bliss and they loved to travel together, especially to family reunions. Over the years, they freely opened their home to many family members. Their home was a place of food, fun and fellowship and many days of sitting on the porch on Anna Street.
Eula accepted Christ at an early age. She later joined fellowship with Mt Calvary Missionary Baptist Church where she was a member for over fifty years. She served in a number of ministries at Mt. Calvary. She sang in the choir and also served on the Annie Scott Missionary Auxiliary. She also served in the Kitchen ministry where she was known for her famous green beans.
Eula retired from the City of Dayton where she worked for a number of years at both the Police Department and also the Dayton International Airport.
Eula will be greatly missed and is survived by her Nephew Felix Crawford, Grandson-Robert Lee Turner, Great Grand Daughter-Leticia Turner and a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
