Miss Carley Antoinnette Rodgers

Updated: Mar 17, 2021

Carley Antoinnette Rodgers, the joyfully and expectantly awaited first child of Carlos and Laura Rodgers, was born sleeping in the arms of Jesus on Wednesday, March 10 at the Kettering Medical Center. She was 4 lbs 10 oz, perfectly formed with beautifully deep rose-colored lips and dark curly hair.

Although much of Carley’s time was spent evading the prying eyes of ultrasound technicians and other medical professionals, the knowledge of her anticipated arrival moved everyone with joy and happiness. Regrettably, Carley did not spend much time on Earth, but her small presence took up a very large space in our minds and hearts; Our “Lil’ Bean” will never be forgotten.

Carley is deeply loved by her parents, Carlos and Laura Rodgers; her paternal grandparents, Carl Rodgers, Sr & Nan Rodgers; her maternal grandparents, Charles Robinson & Mary Carman; her paternal great-grand parents Reverend John & Ella Maze, Helen Rodgers; maternal great-grand mother, Laura Jackson; paternal uncle and aunt, Carl (C.J.) Rodgers, Jr. & Lashaunda Brown-Montre; maternal uncles, Jackson Ray & Victor Kenneth Carman; great aunts and uncles, Mike Porter, Faith Jackson, Valerie Davis, Jessica Mixon-Chambers, Charlotte Bembry, Greg Williams, and Kel Mixon, along with a host of cousins, extended family, friends, and well-wishers.

A graveside service will be held by the family at 1:00 PM, Saturday, March 20, 2021. West Memory Gardens Cemetery.
